Post Kanye-Gap is coming and I am here for it!
Zac Posen has been named creative director of Gap Inc., as well as chief creative officer of Old Navy, the company announced on Monday.
The designer will work with the retailer as a “cultural curator and creative partner,” per a press release. Posen’s design career spans more than 25 years, and encompasses ready-to-wear, couture and costume design (most recently, in “Feud: Capote Vs. The Swans,”).

Zac Posen, and Zac Posen’s Eyebrows [[heart emoji]], were my favorite judges on Project Runway and he has a great editing eye! This is a marriage of aesthetic and company portfolio that really makes sense, and I almost feel like dusting off my old Gap resume so I can grab Banana Republic discount before his first collection drops.
