Imagine my surprise this morning scrolling through the Internet and seeing this news story from Faux News:
North Korea is a run by a dictator whose family has been responsible for human rights atrocities for decades. Even Fox News doesn’t debate that North Koreans are living under an oppressive regime where freedom is non-existent, dissidents are arrested and killed, and defectors travel thousands of arduous miles to escape their home country. To have an interview with a North Korean human rights advocate who says the United States has a bleak future is progressive for a network whose sole purpose is to push the US farther and farther to the ultimate control by the Right and who did their best to set up Donald Trump as our own Dear Leader. I was shook! What is going on at Faux News!
So let me just go on ahead and put on this clown makeup for failing to realize what the story was gonna be about before I clicked on the link!
One of several hundred North Korean defectors settled in the United States, Park, 27, transferred to Columbia University from a South Korean university in 2016 and was deeply disturbed by what she found.
“I expected that I was paying this fortune, all this time and energy, to learn how to think. But they are forcing you to think the way they want you to think,” Park said in an interview with Fox News. “I realized, wow, this is insane. I thought America was different but I saw so many similarities to what I saw in North Korea that I started worrying.”
Those similarities include anti-Western sentiment, collective guilt and suffocating political correctness.

They really got me! You can say a lot of things about Fox News but one thing they know how to do is pull a bait and switch and I can’t believe I fell for it. Every single line of that article is completely unhinged. Look at this mess:
Ma’am! Nobody said that! What part of the exchange are you leaving out just so you can mischaracterize a conversation to Fox News?
Well that settles it. Singular “they” is gonna be the downfall of Western Civilization because this lady is allegedly expected to speak her third language perfectly at all times with no mistakes and could never possibly get comfortable using singular “they” with time and practice.
Somebody’s grandpa, who hates East Asians, stills says “chinamen,” and wouldn’t wear a mask even though he can swear that the “Wuhan Flu” was cooked up in a lab, is watching this lady and nodding his head saying we’re gonna turn into North Korea because the libs are giving away his freedumbz.
And that is a masterful stroke of genius by Fox News. They have perfected the art of turning liberal thought into a communist manifesto sending the country on the path to destruction and oppression. People sitting at home watching these soundbytes now have a link between using the correct pronouns and ending up in a forced labor camp. Having to think critically about the political views of classic Western authors is, in their minds, the same as being oppressed by a ruthless dictator.
I’m honestly impressed. Enraged, exhausted, and disgusted…but it’s very impressive.
